Falcon coach Dan Quinn said that Devonta Freeman is unlikely to be able to participate in the seventh week against the Giants.
Freeman’s next absence is probably more than one game. According to FOX sports reporter Jay Glazer, Falcon will add Freeman to the injury reserve list. Freeman is currently injured in the foot and missed three games this season due to a knee injury. In the time when he was able to play, Freeman rushed the ball 14 times, advanced 68 yards, and completed 5 catches and advanced 23 yards.
Tevin Coleman and Ito Smith will share the rushing mission. In addition to Freeman, there are several starting members on the injury reserve list: Ricardo Allen, linebacker Deion Jones, guard Andy Lay Andy Levitre and security guard Keanu Neal.
Freeman signed a contract with the team for six years and $43 million in 2017
